On the water
We'll go over lure selection, trolling speed, and how to read the electronics throughout the day so you can use the exact same setups on your own water.
High-end rods, terminal tackle, and fresh bait are rigged and ready on board. Just remember to bring your fishing license and lunch, and we'll handle the rest.
We'll head out on the boat or launch our Hobie pedal-drive kayaks to reach quiet coves and shorelines regular craft cannot access.

We'll troll spoons, soft plastics, and flies for trophy rainbow trout, lightning trout, and double-digit holdovers, mixing in still-fishing when conditions call for it.

One of Cal's main home waters. We'll troll spoons, plugs, and dodger setups along the main river channels and points for hard-fighting rainbow trout, landlocked king salmon, and bass.

We'll chase hard-fighting school stripers and trophy fish over twenty pounds during the spring and fall runs, with all rods, bait, and terminal tackle rigged for you.

Fish from one of Cal's Hobie pedal kayaks or bring your own boat across Folsom Lake, foothill reservoirs, and High Sierra lakes. We'll cover pedal positioning, boat control in the wind and current, and trolling setups that put you right in the strike zone.
$200 with your own kayak, $250 with one of Cal's Hobie pedal kayaks
A hands-on day built around your goals on Collins Lake, Folsom Lake, or the Delta. We'll go over downrigger setups, reading sonar, and bait rigging so you can catch fish consistently on your own.
